We have already almost completed our first change to the house and that is to put in canned lighting in the kitchen. Here are some shots of the work in progress :)

There! Now we have to patch and paint and put some molding around the outside.

My parents just did the same thing (but instead of recessed lighting they got a light fixture). It looks great with the molding trim. Looks like your house is coming together!
Looks like you guys a having a blast in your new home!! It's scary at first, but being in your own home is so awesome!! Congratulations!!
Hey Becky! so we are so excited for you guys and your new house!! We miss seeing you and Caleb around! We decided to keep going to Grace Baptist instead of switching for now. Keep updating on home improvements! Hopefully someday me and Kaleb can buy a house! ha Congrats again!
